Pure Data objects for Max MSP

This library makes almost any Pure Data project portable to Max MSP with precision.
I don't know if it will be helpful for anyone else but I have used this library to learn, teach and for some of my projects.
In my github you can also find all the examples, patches from M.Puckette's book The Theory and Technique of Electronic Music and A. Darnell's Designing Sound.

P.S. All my binaries are for Windows. Welcome for corrections and contributions

Fantastic, thanks for sharing that! Examples for the books sound really useful. For anyone who hasn't checked them out, those books alone are worth learning Pd for, and have loads that can be used in Max. I love the Farnell book, it's a really interesting take on sound design and a great compliment to the Cipriani and Giri.

Well, thanks, some people might find it outdated.
However, I am sharing that because i personally have learned a lot while making the library and examples

I will definitely check them out as I work through the Farnell book, and I'll recommend this to my supervisor for his courses too, as I was recommending that book.

Thanks, happy to hear that, please let me know if it works :)

is it possible these externals do not work with Max8 anymore, or are they not compatible with macOS?

yup, windows versions are not compatible with mac. :)

here´s samphold~ as patch, it is one of the most important.

while these "half" poles and zeroes filters are great to have, they are more useful for stuff you can find at the pd forums than for the puckette book.

some others are fairly easy to replace.

110.pd.samphold~ (but it is actually by somebody else)

I see, thanks for clarifying Roman.
So, what would be the appropriate way to port these to macOS? It can't be too hard right?
Is it just a matter of recompiling the source somehow?

Hi, unfortunately only for windows coz no Mac available. In order to compile them for MacOs You will need Xcode, the SDK and the source code I have in my GitHub. However, some changes might be necessary to compile them in Mac Os, welcome anyone who wants to contribute

I have uploaded an old compilation of the externals library for Mac. It should work fine, just take it with a grain of salt because not updated for quite a few years. cheers
