PV_Tools

PV_Tools is a project developed to control audio & midi parameters through a simple webcam, an ip cam or even a desktop grab window. It's an upgrade of my older project OAR. It isolates and captures the movement of a coloured object (red, green or blue) and it "translates" it into the cartesian coordinates of a matrix window.

According to the user's presets this is scheduled to interact with several audio or midi controllers like a pitch shifter, a theremin simulator, a midi synth, a sound font player etc. PV_Tools, at the time, are designed for a couple of colour trackers, and quadraphonic sound.

I use it in many of my projects as well as for educational purposes. In order to be open and freely developed, it is presented as an open max collective patcher.
