RHYTHMICANA

A MIDI arpeggiator/sequencer device that mimics Henry Cowell and Léon Theremin’s Rhythmicon (1931), the world’s first electronic drum machine.
All rhythmic pulses are derived from the rate of the root pulse and the overtone series of the root note. Like the overtone series itself, the rhythms follow an arithmetic progression, so that for every single beat of the fundamental, the first overtone (if played) beats twice, the second overtone beats three times, and so on.
Includes a velocity and duration sequencer, quantization, swing, and shaping controls to vary the velocity, duration, and chance of note triggers. Modulate any parameter with the two included LFOs.
