The Invisible Hand

We developed an art installation for the lobby of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados Law firm. 160.000 particles floating around an imaginary sphere. Then we installed, on every computer on the firm (400 worldwide ), a daemon that tracks the user mouse actions, and those actions create new gravity points in realtime that pull and push the particles around the piece.
Max/MSP made this possible. We designed everything around OSC, and the simplicity of Max, either graphics or protocol, made all the development (3 weeks) much faster.
