abstraction, that divides an octave to any amount of tones (output==frequency)

not sure what file extension these should have. on windows, the files do not associate with max.

if I change it to oct.div.maxpat I get this message in the max window

charset: error getting wide character buffer size

this is an old version for max4
i did not update any of my stuff here into max5
oct.div is an abstraction, open the helpfile for infos.
i just put an max5 version here:
