I love the idea of drawing inspiration from everyday objects for instrument design. Ogata's use of hacked musical instruments (guitar fret boards etc) hooked up to sensors that feed into Max for synthesis and DSP is great. It's a great use of Max/MSP.

Takumi's energy and enthusiasm inspire one to try out new things. Time to play with Max and found objects. I recommend his YouTube channel.
