how to send a bang after saving with "write" message in jit.vcr?

Hi everyone,

I'm new-ish to Max. So I'm using jit.vcr to record video and sound - everything works fine. I'm also delaying a bang so that after 10 seconds, the patch will automatically stop the recording (the bang goes to "stop" after 10 seconds). Basically, I want all video recordings to be 10 seconds only.

But every time I click "write", a small window pops up asking me to save the file to a location of my choosing. The recording only starts after I have clicked "save" from the pop-up window, but the bang to "stop" is already counting down from 10 seconds regardless of when I actually finish pressing "save".

Does anyone know if there's a way around this: by starting the bang countdown after I hit "save"?
