I love Ableton's "full screen" feature but as soon as I open a max window from a M4L device - it could be a "storagewindow" to pattrstorage, or a "; max maxwindow" to open the console - it goes full screen and fills a new macOS "space". 

Is there any way to prevent this behavior?

bumping to see if there's an answer. this behavior is super annoying when using some m4l devices

I haven’t figured it out but it seems like it’s more like macOS issue than Max

I'd also love to know if anyone found a fix to this.
