[share/koudla]pan~, the missing object

Hello everyone,

Following the release of Max 8 and its new fantastic MC objects, I thought: "Great, here comes a bunch of new multichannel objects but there's still not a basic panning object and I've been using Max for 20 years!"

Of course I have made an abstraction to replace it and some of you have made it too probably, However, nothing replaces a simple and effective external. So I have decided to give it a try and have developed my MSP external. pan~ can position and move signals both on stereo and multichannel setups. Please let me know how it runs on your machine. Currently it's Windows-64bit only but if it functions correctly, I'm sure to find someone willing to compile it for MacOS X.

I find that m4l.pan1~, m4l.pan2~, m4l.bal1~, and m4l.bal2~ have served me really well over the years. :) Always glad to have alternatives though .

These are abstractions indeed.

I could try to make Mac version. Is it possible to find a source somewhere?

@Mindaugas: I can send it to you if you give me an e-mail address or any other contact.
