Planning to use the Imaging Source DFG/USB2.

Can the device communicate with drivers on two machines?

Splitting USB signal from the DFG with a USB hub will work?

No, you can't connect any USB device to two computers simultaneously. So if you use an analog to digital converter like the DFG/USB2 you would need to split the analog signal first and than send it to 2 converters each connected to one computer.
