I want to buy the 12 month for students deal of Max 6. Does it come with jitter? Also, how long will it take for them to confirm my student ID? I need it like today.

Sorry to sound stupid, but i am also looking to purchase this 12 month student version. Can someone tell me what the difference is in the two packages? what is 'Gen'? and what is it used for?
