2d.wave to mimic Ableton Wavetable

Hi, I need some help making 2d.wave to sound the same as Abletons wavetable synth. I want a patch where I can use Ableton or Serum wavetables and scan them the same as in Ableton Wavetable. 2d.wave confuses me as it does not seem to have an easy way to insert a frequency or MIDI number.

Did you search in the forum? This thread from 2013 does a good job at explaing why you want to achieve is not trivial, and how you are supposed to do it.
2d.wave~ leftmost inlet correspond to your "playhead". 0 means start of the currently selected row, 1. means the end of that row. Second inlet lets you choose which row to choose from your buffer.

In order to know at which speed you need to phase from 0 to 1, you need to know the length of your buffer rows, at which speed it is supposed to be played for 1:1 playback, and the ratio with the actual note you want to play.

Late replies are late. But thanks, I saw many threads about this topic and was in hope that a trivial solution might have been implemented/discovered. So 2d.wave~ is more like a two-dimensional sampling buffer instead vst-wavetablesque synthesis by default. Thanks, TFL!
