30-foot Digital Display for Max Designers!
Hi all,
I work at the University of Waterloo Stratford Campus, in Stratford, Ontario. We've got a digital media program here and one of my jobs is curating/designing content for a 3-storey-tall digital display in our atrium. I'll post a link down below so you can see more about it. Briefly, it's made of Christie Digital MicroTiles, which are very high resolution and super high contrast. The system also has a stereo set of Tannoy speakers which are decent enough (not much action in the low end though).
I've done a few designs in Max, which is installed on the system, but I'd love to open this up to you all because I'm sure there are some of you who can really make this thing pop. What I'm most interested in are either generative, or interactive designs. We do have some interfacing tools like a Kinect, Leap motion, etc.
If you're interested, please reply and we can chat directly about some more details. If you're in this neck of the woods you'd be welcome to some see it on the Wall, or if you're farther away (which I imagine) I'll be happy to send you some good photos/videos.
Did I mention it's the tallest Christie MicroTile display in the world? (I know I didn't. But it is!)
Thanks everyone,
Jordan
