while looking for the (afaik as yet unreleased) 64 bit FTM externals i came across this post

it seems to suggest downloading the windows 64 bit externals and replacing the OSX ones?

i tried doing that or replacing file names but no luck, is there something fancy i need to do to get them to work?

The OSX 64 bit externals are here: http://listes.ircam.fr/wws/d_read/ftm/ftm-and-co-2.7.0-64bit.zip. Note that this is the externals ONLY. He's suggesting you download the windows FTM files and replace the windows externals with the OSX ones, thereby using the windows help, examples, and other files.
