Hi, I am using Max for a uni assignment. I am no good at it. Basically, It is for recording a small rhythm/tune, which will then loop, and then adding another rhythm/tune and so on, creating layers. The problem is, when I record, it is impossible to get the loops to play in time with one another and in the end they basically start phasing. (when the loop comes around again, it plays in a different place in time) Is there anything I can do so the looping will be in time, as if it were a dance track. Thanks! (it has a sub patch, click the "p inhere" object and you will find the loopers)

If you need your loops to be in sync in playback, starting and stopping each sig~ & groove playback pair (ie loop) independently via its own toggle as you are now doing will not work. They need to all be started at the same precise time - ie from a single toggle & sig~ combination

I don't start them individually though. I have all the toggles on for them while I'm recording, though I suppose if I am turning the toggles on (before I start recording), one by one, then that is what is putting them out of sync...
