Ableton Link: how to change transport's time signature?

Hello,
When using transport with "clocksource link" it always stays on a 4/4 time signature even if the number of quantum for link.phasor~ or link.beat is changed - I'm referring to transport's second outlet that is not in phase with link.beat's left outlet.
Shouldn't they be in sync since we can't change transport's timesig?

Link is awesome by the way! Using it to sync two laptops running Max and it works great.
