I posted this a couple of years ago and never got an answer... On the Mac you can access the built-in GM midi synth by invoking it from vst~ as "DLSmusicDevice" which allows you to process its audio output with additional dsp objects/plugins. Is there any way to do this with the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth on the PC?
