Can you still receive external audio via a soundcard whilst using re_wire.

I have a max patch that processes audio and then sends midi. Is it still possible to get audio input whilst using Rewire to link with Ableton/Logic?

Yes, this is possible. But I had some bad experiences with rewire lately (see other threads on this forum). I advise using soundflower (free cycling 74 product, download here:
