Adding dynamic resizing of panels to presentation mode

I created an interface that changes color and transparency of panels. I included the panels in Presentation mode and it works great... Later I decided to add a resizing feature as well, allowing a fader to resize the panels. The problem now is that the resizing does not work when I'm in presentation mode... I tried removing the object from presentation and then re-adding it, to no avail. How can I do this?
