advice needed on pluggo use in Live

    Hi gurus,
I am new to the world of Max/MSP and pluggo,
I have a midi guitar which sends CC control messages but although the strings are on seperate channels, the sequemcer picks up all the CC messages.
I am looking for a plugin that is able to detect the CC message, filter it according to channel# and generate another CC, idealy with transformation, or even multiple CCs top control other knobs as well.
I use VSTs as well as REASON via rewire. What can the pluggo plugins do/not do for me. I couldnt find a demo and 200$ is a bit steep just for trying. I am on Win/XP platform

The pluggo download IS the demo. It's fully functional, save for making this reedle-di-deedle-dee noise once a minute at random intervals. Just download it and start reading/tweaking.
You should be able to take a good look at the possibilities. In particular, perhaps the M2M [MIDI to Modulator] modulator plug-in might offer you some possibilities. I am a bit less clear about whether Live will allow you to snarf an incoming MIDI stream for plug-in tweaking. It ought to by rights, but I don't know that for certain.

Thanks, got the demo working now.
It seems that M2M only recognises other plugins from pluggo itself, no external party VSTs, so thats quite a limitation.
Will spend some time to see I can fix this.

For this I would simply use MidiOx + MidiYoke, not Pluggo.
Takes some time to figure out the user interface but then it works fine.

Or - Have someone whip you up a MIDI Conversion patch in MaxMsp that matches your exact needs.... that's what I'd do (but I'm afriad I can't make the time to build the patch for you right now..there are others on this group much more highly qualified!)
