HI,

Does anyone know if it's possible to get Airplay (in this case, the screen of an iPad) as a video source into max?

thanks

I'm also interested in apple airplay system, but for a different use.

I would like to send audio from max to different iOS devices via airplay.
Is there an external to do this?

Thank you very much

Hello There,
Same point of interest in my case : I've got Max 6, and i would like to have the audio of my generated patch be directly transmitted by airplay (same process than itunes) in order to hear the sound on my monitors (instead of the speakers of my macbook pro) without cables, but with only a Wifi connection and an internet provider box.
Is it possible ? I guess i think so, but the question is : how to achieve that ?
Thanks for your helps

I think this is ... inadvisable for monitors. You're adding an additiona a/d conversion stage which is a black box - not IMO a recipe for success.

Hello jamesson,
In fact, i was thinking about a solution like this :
Let's supposing that i'm doing a simple patch (a sound generated with a sine object). I would like to hear this sound not threw my speakers (macbook pro), but, i would like to transmit this sound via an UDP object, sent directly to the internet box (of the internet provider) by Wifi.
The box has the 5353 port opened and is capable of receiving UDP (only sounds) like the Apple Airplay.

The question is : is it possible to transmit sound signal threw UDP ?
Best !

Edit ! Got my problem resolved with the wonderfull Airfoil (compatible Max 6).
Only one drawback : Delay of 2 second before the sound comes out.
