Allowing Users to Patch on a Locked System
I know patching is a big part of using Max when a patch is locked. But let's say you want to create a program that lets users repatch things on their own? That is technically unlocked, and involves a software license.
Oscillot by Max for Cats seems to allow the user to patch without owning a max license. Would it be possible to do something similar?
The best you're likely to be able to do would be to set up connections between a finite set of modules or units and then allow for interconnections among the items in that set. That'd use send or send~, etc. Perhaps there are others with more exotic suggestions.
