Hi, I have currently got an issue wherein I am trying to take a list of numbers that is updated in real time and pass it into a zl.compare object. To create a list that is constantly updated, I am using pak but when running the list of values from pak into zl.compare I am noticing that regardless of whether the list of numbers is equal to the target values, a bang is being outputted every time the numbers are updated

I realised this is because as well as a list, pak outputs a bang also but it is causing the comparison to be completely bypassed. Are there any solutions to stop the bang being sent to the input of the zl.compare or does it require an alternative to pak?

are you sure ?
if you call your input a list of numbers,
and use pak i i i i i i etc
pak will never output  a bang.

You must be doing something wrong,
or explain your thing in a wrong way.

if you name patcher colour comparison  - with space
patch title will ignore comparison.
rather use colour_comparison

read help file of objects you use.
if you had a  look at zl compare,
you would know that it outputs 1 for match and 0 for non match.
if you want to bang on match then


zl.reg stores anything, until you need to call it again. you can make it function like pack, pak, include various sorting, formatting, combining and splitting options using whatever other zl objects, and all that with lists in arbitrary and changing lengths.
