am I imagining there is simple grab attributes (changed) from object technique?

    For some reason I remember something like this has been added to max, but can't track it down. I basically want to be able to take an object and some how copy all its (ideally only the altered ones) attributes, to make them the defaults on next patch launch. It would be great if they were copied right into the object box. For some reason I think I did this before!?, but maybe that was just a dream....

      Do you mean freezing the attributes?

      I'm guessing you mean "Transform Changed Attributes to Arguments"
      Hover your mouse over the left edge of the object you have changed attrs on You will see a lil round yellow cirle with an arrow in it. right click - look for "Transform Changed Attributes to Arguments" select that. boom.
