Hi,

Mikhail Malt and I are pleased to announce the release of Zsa.descriptors (a library for real-time sound descriptors analysis). You can grab it here: http://www.e--j.com.

Feedback is more than welcome. Have fun!

Thanks! It's still an ongoing work with hopefully a better documentation coming in a not too distant future, more examples, and more descriptors.

At this point I'm not sure when/if it will happen.

zsa.fund is broken on my machine, outputs '2. 2.xx' & I installed zsa.descriptors 1.0b2 - any ideas? webpage doesn't respond these days...

2.4GHz, OSX 10.5.7, m/m/j 5.0.7

Yeah sorry about that. I broke it while doing the windows port. I'll try to upload a new version tomorrow. In the meantime if you rely on zsa.fund you can download the previous version.

Works fine here.

There's a new version btw, which includes a new object zsa.dist to calculate distance between lists using various algorithm.

Have fun!

Sorry to revive a 2 year old post but I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with [zsa.flatness]. All I seem to get is a flat line value of 1. across the spectrum.

I'm using Max 6 on Mac OSX Snow Leopard.

Thanks for the report. There's indeed a problem with the zsa.flatness~ since the last update (for the Max 6 compatibility, it should work fine in Max 5 in the meantime). I'll try to make another release soon.
