Hi, I think this would be my very first time posting something here.

I am doing the final project for environmental science class in my uni, and I chose to create a simple data sonification patch. This is going to be my very first trial of data sonification and I only have 2 weeks so I don't want to strangle myself with a huge complicated project.

First I figured that I need a dataset to start with.

 to look for datasets. If you have any other suggestions of looking up for dataset, let me know.

It should be related to environmental stuff (weather, water, endangered species, whatever).

Second, I might have to choose and assign which data value to goes to which musical parameter.

I have tried making simple Additive Synth, Subtractive Synth, AM, FM Synth with max before with simple sine, sawtooth, square waves. But I want to try something different this time. Can you suggest any interesting patch idea that I can try?
