I'm trying to install the demo of Max 6 on a PC and I'm getting this error. I have Quicktime 7 installed, what else am I missing?

I'm running a full version on a similarly spec'd computer, although the troublesome device is a "work" computer that our IT guy wipes whenever it comes back to the shop.
