The idea is to create a patch that simulates the kinds of hardware you would hook into an arduino. Considering the work of connecting a max patch to an arduino is already accomplished, this is kind of the next step of abstraction. How I see is is that the user has template "standard" objects that can be hooked to pins of the arduino. Let's say for example a LED. The user could optionally delve into the LED object and change the Current/Voltage/Forward Voltage etc.
As I see it this would be a great tool for prototyping, so that the user doesn't need to have the components to breadboard the project. I think this could all be done in Max.
