Audio Drivers in Standalone Application
i built a simple standalone Osx app using Max5 and everything runs as should except that I when i try to configure the DSP settings from within the application to output to an external sound card (Presonus Firebox) I dont have the option to do so.
While in Max i can get the sound to route out of the internal soundcard or the Firebox , but in the application it will only let me output through the internal.
Any help is appreciated!
look at the help file for [adstatus]. that should help you in your path of choosing i/o audio drivers etc

A little easier, look at the help file for ezdac~, there is a command you can send to it that opens the DSP settings window.
Thanks guys. I knew about sending "open" to ezdac to bring up the DSP windows but i didnt know about {adstatus} and all that good stuff.
After restarting my mac, things seemed to function as expected, i'm not sure why though. Also, the Standalone was crashing when the patch was open in max at the same time. Not sure if that is a known issue or not.
