Audio problem while synchronizing video on two machines.

Hi all,
First of all I'm sorry if this has been posted by me some months ago, I've been AFK and lost the previous thread..

I'm having audio stuttering issues while synchronizing a video on two machines:

Two computers on the same network, one is the master and the other is the slave.
The master provides bang for both and must be capable to determine position and scrubbing via a playbar.

I have achieved complete synchrony and scrubbing is consistent in both machines but the audio in the slave is now super stuttery, surely due to a wrong bang/time messages order..

I wonder if you can shed a light on this.

I'm including both the patches, you can run them on the same computer and, lowering the master's volume you can easily hear the slave's problem.

The two patches are stripped parts from a bigger multi patch system but explain my rude approach to synching. There may be extra stuff that remained and that's not essential..

To open a video file press the read button in the master patch, this will open two dialog boxes: one for the master and one for the slave, of course the video file must be the same.. ;-)

Max Patch
Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

Thanks a lot for any input/suggestion

unfortunately, there is no way around glitches for this kind of technique.
you are going to be better off exporting your audio track from quicktime to an audio file, and loading it with something like sfplay~.
then you can sync your two videos, to the one audio track.

Ok,

Thanks Rob.
