audio read to sonogram sounding strange (audio to jfx)
New to jitter and spectral stuff but I've been combing through the JFC spectral tutorials which are amazing, as well as Tadej Drolic's old dissertation, and am wondering why when I convert an audio file to a jfx in the JFC tutorial "explore the sonogram" the result sounds like I've already applied some kind of spectral effects to it. Am looking for a 1:1 representation that I can then apply effects to. The FFT size is 4096 in the JFC patch and the Tadej Drolic patch I'm using to play the audio, and have tried playing the jfx in different patches as well and the result is the same, so I imagine in it's in the conversion happening in the JFC patch. Here's a google drive folder with the input sample and the result as well as the tutorial patch:

And if anyone's interested I've slightly modified the JFC patch so that I can drag and drop:

ahh i see i messed with the number of recorded frames
