Auto-complete suggests abstractions over vanilla objects - any way to edit this?
It's still somewhat intelligent, in that it *will* suggest recently used abstractions, but often it will bring up weird stuff from my abstractions folder before, say, [switch], which does seem unintentional.
Is this switchable in some way? Something about the ordering in File Preferences?
thanks.
b.bump, in the hopes that someone who's come across this too could chime in.
I agree. It is weird to have [100ths] come up when all I need is [1].
yeah, i find this annoying too
I know, right? I guess the thinking has been "But these are custom objects, so they must be special to the user's need", but often special means "user only needs it once in a while, but when she does she REALLY does need them", and in that rare case I don't mind scrolling a bit.
Is the only answer to 'hide' them from Max? Since installing the rather expansive cnmat package I get some unfamiliar autocomplete action too.
I'd much prefer them being prioritized lower than straight up hiding them, to be honest.
