auto convert matrix patches into gl shaders and textures as a feature in max 5??
Hello,
I was thinking it would be nice to be able to build a jitter patch using matrix based objects since this is a bit easier for me to understand then encapsulate them like you would encapsulate a portion of a patch in Max, and somehow have the option for Jitter to automatically convert these sections to be processed on the GPU instead of the CPU.
It would be nice to be able to use the power and efficiency of the graphics card without having to learn how to program shaders, textures, etc. In other words a quick way to keep the flexibility that max offers without having to get into programming. I could see how Vizzie might be a step in that direction but not exactly.
