    how can i order a patcher so something monitors a toggle, once the toggle is on, it then waits for the toggle to be off then outputs a bang?

      did you look at the tutorials? this is basic max logic, try [sel 0 1]..

      You're putting yourself through a lot of extra confusion by not making
      the most of the documentation. You can save a lot of flailing by
      working through the Tutorials, reading the Topics, and
      skimming/searching the Reference. You need to know what's in there
      before you can use Max effectively, and there's no substitute for being
      well-acquainted with the manuals - sometimes knowing where to look makes
      all the difference.
