Boss FC-50 -- Patch OK but still some problems
Hey guys the Boss FC-50 in question

I've created the following patch below to allow me to change/pipe its program change message into Ableton or other software using the internal IAC Midi Bus.
The problem I have is the triggering button 1-4 is ok and 6-9 but if I assign 5/10 -- when I click the AB it actually flicks between these two number 5 and 10.
The weird way around it is to not assign pedal 5/10 to anything, BUT when change from banks A to B I still must hit 5/10 to stop it changing any of the other numbers. Kind of ok, but kind of a pain in the arse because if I forget I'm going to be triggering something I don't want.
Has anyone had any experience with this pedal? An help would be gratefully appreciated.
Don't know anout this pedal, but your patch seems a bit strange to me: isn't the following patch doing the same thing?
And if you want the noteout playing a different number than the pgmin, just insert a coll with the mapping between [pgmin] and [makenote].
the pack certainly is cut down compared to mine but it didn't work as reliably and also the A/B 5/10 was still a problem.
You should print in the Max console the MIDI output of your pedal and analyse what it does when you push your pedals.
BTW, why is my small patch less reliable?
it was unreliable as the notes would shift to other notes after multiple hits rather than stay as the assigned note like they do in mine. I do however much prefer your patch, mine such a mess.
I'll try printing - thanks for the tip
Tried the print out but it basically told me what I already knew, unfortunately the A/B puts out a program change message of 5/10 as well as changing from the 'A' bank to 'B' bank.
Could you tell me if this patch is the best way to alter a 'program change' in message to a specific 'note on' out message??
