I've been having problems with Mira in 7 lately, and I've made some discoveries I hope someone can help me with.

Firstly, I have a bunch of folders at " /Application Support/Cycling '74/Max 7/" named "temp-<name_of_some_app_I_made>". Most of these have a folder 'mxt' inside, with a bunch of Max externals within that. I gather those are used in the process of compiling? Do those count as being in the search path? Maybe those should clear themselves after compilation, just to avoid junk lying around....

Also, I have the Mira package in two places:

Max735.app/Contents/Resources/C74/packages/mira

and in the Packages folder /Users/mattyo/Documents/Max 7/Packages/Mira

I see a similar structure in Max 8, although Mira is working OK there. 

Anyone have any idea what I can chuck and what I should keep? I'm guessing some outdated version of mira id floating around in my searchpath somewhere....
