Bug? - Difference between live.numbox and Number in "midi note" mode.
Hello.
After lot of times I found the culprit for a problem...
The Number object in Max in "Midi Note" mode does not show the good note name.
Someone can reproduce or I misanderstood something ?

seems your max num box is NOT in "midi mode" but in "Midi(C4)" mode, which indeed deplaces it all by one octave. I have an old cheap yamaha keyboard which sends its notes by this standart (form memory there was at the very beginning of midi some mismatch about note 60 being a C3 or a C4. not totally sure why and how, but you can sure change it Max - pref of the numbox object)

max number object has option to display Midi Note with correct middle C = C4.
but they all only "display" note names,
output is allways numeric 0-127
unless you make umenu and name notes whatever you want.

I remember, when I totally debated Max to have seen this "Midi (C4)" in the inspector for the first time... At this moment I had wrongly believed that the C4 just wanted to say that the "int" was going to be seen in "Note Midi". Since then, my eyes have never wanted to see the "MIDI" without C4 just before! Thank you for opening my eyes =)
