Buttons and MIDI note duration
I am using buttons to trigger Midi notes as a sort of virtual instrument. I now have a setup where you have to choose a duration and then that is the only duration you can play until choosing another one. I would like for the duration to be touch sensitive, meaning as long as you hold down the button the note will play. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi just saw your post, it's a good idea.! I Want to achieve something like this but synced to the bpm and add an extra value like a ratio or a percentage but have no experience in max programmation.
i don't completely understand – you'd like to hold down a button to determine a note's length but ALSO have the note-length synced to BPMs? or do you simply want note lengths to be synced / quantized to your global BPM? if it's the later you are trying to do, check the "more" section on the [makenote] reference.
