C++ Audio Programming book

Hi all,

I've been learning Max for a few years now and have decided to get a bit more seriously into programming. I'm looking to get into either plugin development or game audio programming, so have started learning C++. I'm halfway through this book - beginning C++ through game programming:

It's well written and easy to understand, but I'm after a more audio based book to accompany it. Have been considering this one - The audio programming book:

Anyone have any experience with this or have any other recommendations?

Thoughts appreciated,

Mark

It is an amazing book. Filled with examples and in depth
explanation. I use it for mostly csound development, which I
find it to be an easier environment to develop signal processing
algorithms. But all the concepts are easily ported to a Max
environment as well. I highly recommend it.
