Cables (how to make them invisible)
Alright, this might be a stupid question but i couldnt find a solution to my problem... I've seen some patches that have invisible cables between the objects. Does anyone know how to make this happen? I have constructed a very big patch, and there are too many cables, i want to make them invisible so i only can see the objects and messages.
Any suggestions?
Help is much appreciated!
thanks!
hi,
On menu "View" hit "Hide Connections", or Select the cable and "Apple+K" this way the cable stays invisible, on locked patches. To reverse just select the cable and "Apple+L", i don't know the Windows shortcuts.

haha... great it was right in front of my eyes.
THANK YOU!
Another thing you can do to make them less in the way is set their alpha channel to something low, so that they are visible, but transparent. Select the cables you want to modify and go to Object->Colors... and change the "alpha" level to a number less than .1 or so.

best way if you want to hide them all: Hide Foreground, Select All, Hide on Lock, Show Foreground. This hides all cables at once.
(though if you have objects in the background this will hide them too, so Hide Background before Hide on Lock if this is the case.)
Windows shortcuts are the same: control-K = hide, control-L = show.
option-drag to select cables too
