Trying to figure out best method for calculating average midi velocity in real time from notein object of someone playing jazz piano. ZL Stream with ZL Median seems like it could work, but where I'm stuck how to deal with the data when some notes are sustained and some aren't.

accum accumulates, counter counts, and on top a / for dividing?

of course zl stream could be the right approach if you really want the _running average from a _group of events.
