camera position limited? z<0.1?

I can't figure out why the rendering is not as expected with [jit.gl.render] when the z of the camera position is between 0. and 0.1. Could someone explain? Or does it look like a bug? See attached patch:

Yeah, it's strange, I don't know what's happening, but I noticed that if you use jit.gl.camera instead of directly controlling jit.gl.render with the camera message, the problem goes away.
Yes, [jit.gl.camera] is an option. Still, weird. Thanks.
i think it has to do with the settings of that internal render camera, which was to mimic the Max 5 behavior. just use the external jit.gl.camera.
