Can you edit the default Ableton midi effects?

Hello,

Since there is no edit button on the default midi effects (that come standard with Live),is there anyway to see how they've been constructed or build off of an effect that Ableton has already created.

(Just FYI, I'm particularly trying to edit the device "Jazz for Dummies". Its location is MIDI EFFECTS>CHORD>JAZZ FOR DUMMIES)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much!

This " jazz for a dummies" is a preset, not a midi effect. The midi effect here is the "Chord". So just tweak the buttons and the device will be "edited".

Ok, thanks but I want to see the inside of this "Chord" midi effect displayed in a max patcher window. Is that possible?

you could use a similiar maxforlive effect called the schwarzonator

Yea I have Schwarzonator, it's really cool. What I have in mind is not intended for pitched instruments. Thank you for the suggestion though.

So is it impossible to display/edit the default midi/audio effects (that come standard with Live) in a max patcher window?

Ok, I'm new to all of this.

How?

Sorry for the confusion. I meant that it is NOT possible to edit Live's built in FX and instruments.

Live Devices are not coded with Max for Live, therefore you can't edit them.

Oh it's ok, you must have been answering my first question.
Well that would be really kick ass if you could!
