Can you use Max4Live to alter filepaths for existing midi devices (eg Sampler)

this is a question for Max4Live users, from someone who is considering purchasing it...
I am curious as to whether you can use Max4Live to hack filepath logics for existing Ableton instruments.
For example, would it be possible to create a small patch that allows you to record one audio sample and then have this sample automatically load into 3 or four different Samplers without needing to drag and drop each one?

Yeah, i probably will, but its a question of how soon... that would have swung an immediate purchase...

This is a limitation in the ability to control Live Devices. You can however make your own samplers as Max devices and have those autoload your recorded samples, or just record into buffer~s in global namespace and access them from any number of Max Instruments. If it's built in Max, it's easy to control.
