Cancel quit with closebang?

    I'm developing a patch which needs to communicate with a server via UDP. When the patch is closing, I need to wait for the proper answer from the server, before actually closing Max.
    I haven't found any way to do this. Is the an (undocumented?) way to force [closebang] to quit closing? If yes, how?
    Or: how should I proceed in this case?

      use a small (or invisible) root patcher to implement this closing function, while moving the rest of your app in a subpatcher to it.
      the [closebang] in the subpatcher can now control wether the root patcher (which still contains the running app, but in the already closed supatcher) will close and unload immediately or wait for the network command.
