Out of ignorance of the program I can't figure out why Max MSP wont load this plug in.

When I load the vst~ object and send a "plug" message to it it lets me browse but the dll file for the plug in is greyed out.

Is there something fundamental that I am not doing or not realising?

I use Max/MSP 5 on a Mac 10.5.7 I think. The Mac is not with me at the moment and I can not remember the exact version numbers.

I do belive that .dll is a windows format, you need to get a .vst version to use with a mac.

I see now. I knew .dlls were mainly Windows based but I had not idea that vst's actually had their own .vst format.

Cubase putting dll's into the VST folders confused me =D
