capture script commands
Is there a way to perform an action, such as creating an object or
connecting patch cords, and produce the script that would perform the same
action?
(Since max text patches are basically long scripts, I am thinking that I
could make a shell-based script that would save the patcher as text every
time I make a change (that could be scripted) and use diff to find the
difference between the file and the previous version, and then dump it back
into max. This is just brain rambling, I know there would be more involved,
but is there a simple way? Hopefully a basic object listed plainly in a
tutorial that I haven't read in too long?)
