I have a patcher file and I want to change its attributes within the patcher somehow. In particular, I want to change whether the toolbar is visible in the patcher window e.g. toolbarvisible 0. thispatcher only seems to target a particular subset of patcher attributes.

The @toolbarvisible attribute is only checked on open, so sending 

 does work (just look into the patcher inspector to check the value of the attribute) but you need to save, close and reopen the patch to remove the toolbars.

Thanks. Part way there. If it worked on loading (loadbang) that would've been suitable. Ultimately I think it might be useful to change patcher attributes on the fly within the actual patcher (feature request).
