Changing API loop start/end effects playback

I am trying to automate the movement of MIDI clip start/end loop markers. I have found that when the markers are moved it affects the playback position, in a random way, causing a slight fluctuation in position. Is there a way to avoid this?

I've found that the playback position is also affected if you change the markers manually. So I guess it can't be avoided when automating the movements.

Hi broc, thanks for answering. It is just the start/end loop markers that I wish to change. I did not notice any change when adjusting them manually. I have found a workaround for now. I move the start/end loop marker at the same time, delaying the action by 1 second after the play position passes the start marker. Not perfect but it works for what I want to do for now. Hopefully in the future I can refine this more.
I remember in the past experimenting with moving the play position and read the action was not quantised. Also if loop is off and you manually move start/end markers it will alter the playback position. Maybe the current methods of modifying the API are not suited to what I am trying.
      Thanks Alan
