Changing filepath of files in playlist~ object through text etc

I have a number of playlist~ objects with large numbers of files, each with different loop points etc.
These are (for shame!) scattered across a load of hard drives, and I'm wanting to consolidate to one folder.
I've copied all my media into one folder on a hard drive. Instead of dragging and dropping each file, which will take ages and in which I am bound to make mistakes, I would like to be able to do something either:
1. In bulk, where I just redirect the parent folder of each file
OR
2. Edit the file paths via text, where I can just paste the new absolute filepath over the old filepath, keeping the name of the .wav file the same.
Has anyone done or attempted this?

Or only keep it embedded in the patcher ? if you store pattrstorge json file, then you can edit it in text editor. here exported and modified playlist from help file, one then clears the playlist and reads edited json file to populate it new.
but keep original patch and it's playlists backup somewhere or at last initial pattr export.
